Pulp press
Sugar beet pulp is an important by-product in sugar production industries. This slag contains a lot of water and it is necessary to extract its water by a slag press.
Pulp press is a device for dewatering sugar beet pulp mechanically. In this machine, the slag along with water enters the machine from one side, and by passing between the blades of the machine, it is compressed and the water is separated from the slag. In this method, the moisture content of the output sludge is between 24 and 35%. This method is less expensive than the thermal drying method.
Turbinedar Company is a manufacturer of Pulp press machines with blades covered with stainless steel in the capacity of 1,000 to 3,000 tons per day. The energy consumption of this device is about 90 kW using standard electric motors.
