Vacuum Belt Filter

Horizontal vacuum belt filter is a machine that is used to separate solid from liquid, such as slurry dewatering in water and wastewater treatment, mining and chemical industries.

The filtration process is done using a filter cloth that circulates as a conveyor belt. In this type of filter, dewatering process is based on vacuum and the cake is formed on a cloth that is placed on a rubber conveyor belt.

The width of the fabric can be from 0.5 to 4.5 meters. At the end of the machine and the place where the cake is discharged, a spatula is installed to separate the remaining cake from the filter fabric and a row of nozzles is installed to clean and wash the fabric.
